Watch: Felix Delarosa Vs SWAT Robot in Lubbock County, Texas. 39-year-old Felix Delarosa was seen throwing a bedsheet on the robot and firing at it before getting teargassed by the device. Delarosa was wanted by Texas' "anti-gang" unit for a separate crime when the incident unfolded. "Authorities said Delarosa fired another shot while SWAT negotiators also attempted to contact him," a local news report said. "Delarosa continued firing shots, then fired a round at officers. A member of the sheriff’s office sn*per team then fired off a round, striking Delarosa." The robot helped take Delarosa into custody before he was rushed to the hospital for his injuries.

Pennsylvania: A police officer from the City of Washington and one other person were both injured in a violent, late-night crash in Washington County. State police said the accident happened just before 11 p.m. at the intersection of Jefferson and Hall Avenues. Investigators said the officer involved was responding to a domestic call on Summerlea Avenue where a person was allegedly being stabbed. The officer was traveling northbound on Jefferson Avenue when police said another driver pulled onto Jefferson from Hall Avenue when the two collided. The officer was rushed to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital by ambulance. He was released Thursday morning. The other driver was flown to the same hospital. KDKA has not received an update on her condition. The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, Florida, sadly announced the death of a deputy following a crash. Deputy Darell Brown, 40, tragically was killed on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at approximately 7:45 a.m. after a collision involving a semi-truck on U.S. Highway 301 just north of Stacy Road in Thonotosassa. BREAKING! A crash involving a fire department vehicle injured 12 people on an Orange County freeway near the perimeter of the Airport Fire. The California Highway Patrol issued a 5-hour closure for the northbound lanes of the CA-241 Freeway.
