The history of the conflict between Israel and Lebanon is a difficult topic to cover but its threads extend all the way to today. Both sides have taken lessons from the 2006 Israel Lebanon War. A compilation of reports covering the 1982 Israeli invasion of Lebanon (also known as the 1982 Lebanon War), from the attempted assassination of Israeli diplomat Shlomo Argov on 3 June 1982, through the Siege of Beirut, to the evacuation of the Palestine Liberation Organisation (PLO) in August that year. Comprised of nearly 40 news reports, the compilation features footage of intense frontline fighting as well as coverage of the war's effects in the region and the wider world.
