ፕሬዝዳንቱ የአሰራር ስርዓትን በመከተል ሁሉም ኃላፊነቱን እንዲወጣ አሳሰቡ። *//** መስከረም 9 ቀን 2017 ዓ.ም የሀዋሳ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ተ/ፕሬዝዳንት ዶ/ር ችሮታዉ አየለ የፕሬዝዳንት ጽ/ቤት ተጠሪ የስራ ዘርፎችን ከሚመሩ የስራ አስፈፃሚዎች፣ ዳይሬክተሮችና የቡድን መሪዎች ጋር በሴኔት መሰብሰብያ አዳራሽ ውይይት ያደረጉ ሲሆን ሁሉም የሥራ ዘርፎች ላይ አግባብነት ያለው የአሰራር ሥርዓትን ተከትለው በተጠያቂነት ስሜት መስራት እንዳለባቸው አሳስበዋል:: ዶ/ር ችሮታዉ ከተሳታፊዎች ጋር ትዉዉቅ ካደረጉ በኃላ የውይይት መድረኩ አስፈላጊነት በቅርበት ለመተዋወቅና በትኩረት መሰራት ባለባቸው ጉዳዮች ላይ በመነጋገር የስራ መመሪያዎችን ለማስተላለፍ መሆኑን ገልፀዉ ሁሉም ኃላፊዎችና በስራቸዉ ያሉ ሰራተኞችም የአሰራር ስርዓትን በመከተል፣ ዘርፉን በመደገፍ፣ በማቀድ፣ በመተግበር፣ የተሰሩትንም በመሰነድና ሪፖርት በማድረግ ኃላፊነቱን እንዲወጣ መመሪያ ሰጥተዋል። የሀዋሳ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ፕሬዝዳንት ጽ/ቤት ኃላፊ አቶ አየለ አደቶ በበኩላቸዉ ፕሬዝዳንቱ ለስራ ዘርፎቹ ትኩረትና ጊዜ ሰጥተዉ በማናገራቸዉ አመስግነዉ በተለያዩ ክፍሎች የመዋቅር ለዉጥ እየተተገበረ በመሆኑ ያልተሟሉ መደቦች ቢኖሩም ባለዉ የሰዉ ኃይል ስራዎች ታቅደዉ መሰራና በየሶስት ወሩም ሪፖርት ተደርገዉ መገምገም እንዳለባቸዉ አስምረውበታል:: በዉይይቱም የየዘርፉ ኃላፊዎችና ቡድን መሪዎች አሰቸኳይና ትኩረት የሚሹ ነጥቦችን አንስተዋል።                         ሀዋሳ ዩኒቨርሲቲ                     ሁሌም ለልህቀት!             ሊያገኙን ቢፈልጉ:- Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Hawassa.University?mibextid=ZbWKwL Website: https://www.hu.edu.et

Dr. Chirotaw added that Hawassa University has strategic interest in strengthening national and international collaborations and the NORHED-II program funded project, NURTURE, is one of the exemplary projects that are assisting the university in the right direction it envisions. Prof. Shegaw Anagaw, Project manager from Norway, also spoke on the objectives, outcomes, challenges of the project and the way forwards. Another important presentation was from Ms Meklit Mintesinot, e-SHE project manager, on digitalization efforts, progresses and challenges in Ethiopian higher education institutions. NURTURE Project Organizes Mid-Term Evaluation Workshop **//** September 18, 2024 The second day of the NURTURE Project Mid-Term program evaluation workshop hosted by the Institute of Technology, Hawassa University, had seen important presentations attended by top university leadership and other partners at Rori Hotel. Dr. Ing. Fasika Bete, Scientific Director of IOT officially welcomed attendants where he stated that collaboration and networking between academic institutions, employers, professional associations, the industry and the local community creates a conducive environment for exchange of ideas and experience. He justified the aim of the workshop as an important platform to share experiences on issues of mutual concern among higher education institutions and other stakeholders. Addis Ababa Science and Technology University, Debre Markos University, and Jimma University. The goal of the project, according to Dr. Shegaw, is to enhance the capacity of educational programs, particularly in the areas of e-Health, informatics, and special needs education, at these five Ethiopian universities. During the first day morning session of the seminars, discussions focused on topics such as Mental Health and Digitalization, AI and infection prevention, Connecting the Future for Schools and Community Learning, Living Labs, Smart Cities and Sensors, and insights from Norway’s digitalization process were discussed. Hawassa University Hosts NURTURE Project Mid-Term Seminars ***//*** September 16, 2024 Hawassa University’s Institute of Technology (IOT) has organized the NURTURE project mid-term seminars from  September 16 -18/2024 with the aim of evaluating its progress in nurturing SDGs through capacity building in higher education across Ethiopia over the past three years. Dr. Geberchristos Nurye, the Deputy Director of Research and Technology Transfer at the Institute, officially welcomed the researchers and guests and underscored the importance and timeliness of the topics being addressed. In his opening remarks, Dr. Shegaw Anagaw, the Ethiopian Project Manager, presented brief explanation on the NURTURE project, highlighting its collaborative nature. በመልጋ ወረዳ፣ በሀዋሳ ከተማ እንዲሁም በይርጋለም ከተማ ለሚገኙ ወጣቶች እንዳቀረበ ገልጸዋል። የይርጋለም ከተማ ብልጽግና ፓርቲ ጽ/ቤት ኃላፊና የከንቲባው ተወካይ አቶ ታምሩ ታደሰ በበኩላቸው የሀዋሳ ዩኒቨርሲቲ በዶሮ እርባታ ስራ ላይ ያደረገው አጠቃላይ ድጋፍ በገንዘብ ሲተመን ከ1.5 ሚሊዮን ብር በላይ እንደሆነ ጠቅሰው በክልሉ መንግስት ስራ አጥነትን ለመቀነስና የስራ ዘርፎችን በማብዛት ወጣቶችን ተጠቃሚ ለማድረግ እየተሰራ ለሚገኘው ስራ ትልቅ እገዛ መሆኑን ተናግረዋል። ኃላፊው አክለውም ከተማ አስተዳደሩ ከማህበራቱ ጋር በቅርበት በመስራት የባለሙያና የመሰረተ ልማት ድጋፍ እያደረገ መሆኑንና የመሸጫ ቦታና የገበያ ትስስር በመፍጠር ረገድ እቅዶችን ማዘጋጀቱን ገልጸዋል። በስራ እድሉ ተጠቃሚ ከሆኑት ወጣቶች ተመስገን አሰፋ እና ሰላም ማቲዎስ አስተያየታቸውን ሲሰጡ እንደገለጹት አስር አባላት ያላቸው ሁለቱ ማህበራት ወደ ስራ ከመግባታቸው በፊት በሀዋሳ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ባለሙያዎች ቅድሚያ ስልጠና እንደተሰጣቸውና ቀጥሎም 2,200 የሚሆኑ ጫጩቶችን ከመኖ ጋር እንዲሁም የመመገቢያ ቁሳቁሶችን ድጋፍ እንደተበረከተላቸው ተናግረዋል። በመጨረሻም ወጣቶቹ በተመቻቸላቸው የስራ እድል ራሳቸውን በኢኮኖሚ ከመቻል አልፈው ለሌሎችም ተምሳሌት ለመሆን ጠንክረው እንዲሰሩ የስራ መመርያ ተሰጥቷቸዋል። ሀዋሳ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ሁሌም ለልህቀት! ሊያገኙን ቢፈልጉ:- ***** Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Hawassa.University?mibextid=ZbWKwL Website: https://www.hu.edu.et Telegram: https://t.me/HUCommunicationsoffice Email: [email protected]

የሀዩ የማህበረሰብ አገልግሎት ሥራ የመስክ ቀን በይርጋለም ከተማ ተከበረ:: **//* መስከረም 4 ቀን 2017 ዓም በሀዋሳ ዩኒቨርሲቲ የማህበረሰብ አገልግሎት ዳይሬክቶሬት ድጋፍ በይርጋለም ከተማ የተሻሻለ የአንድ ቀን ጫጩት ድጋፍ ተደርጎላቸው በስራ ላይ የሚገኙ ሁለት የወጣት ማህበራት ያሉበትን ደረጃ ለመገምገም በተካሄደው የመስክ ምልከታ ላይ ከማዕከላዊ ሲዳማ ዞን፣ ከይርጋለም ከተማ አስተዳደርና ከዩኒቨርሲቲው የተወጣጡ የሥራ ኃላፊዎችና ባለሙያዎች እንዲሁም ተመራማሪዎች ተሳትፈዋል። የም/ቴ/ሽ/ም/ፕሬዚደንት ዶ/ር ታፈሰ ማቲዎስ በመስክ በዓሉ ላይ ሲናገሩ ሀዋሳ ዩኒቨርሲቲ በትምህርት፣ የምርምር ስራዎች እንዲሁም የማህበረሰብ አገልግሎት ዘርፎች ከተመሰረተበት ግዜ ጀምሮ ለዓለም፣ ለሀገር ብሎም ለአካባቢው ማህበረሰብ እድገት ላቅ ያለ አስተዋፅኦ እያበረከተ ነው:: ዩኒቨርሲቲው በልዩ ትኩረት ከሚሰራባቸው የማህበረሰብ አገልግሎት ዘርፎች አንዱ በሆነው በእንስሳት እርባታ ውጤታማ ዝርያዎችን በማዳቀል፣ ዘመናዊ የንብ ማነብ ሥራን በማስፋፋት፣ የዓሣ ምርትን በገበሬዎች ጓሮ ከማስጀመር አንስቶ የአንድ ቀን የዶሮ ጫጩት ድጋፍና የመኖ አቅርቦት በማመቻቸት፣ ለአካባቢው ማህበረሰብ ወጣቶች የሥራ ዕድል በመፍጠር፣ የመንግስትን የሌማት ትሩፋት ዓላማዎች በመደገፍ፣ የማህበረሰቡን አመጋገብና የስነምግብ ሥርዓት ለማሻሻል ኃላፊነቱን እየተወጣ እንደሚገኝ ዶ/ር ታፈሰ ገልፀዋል። በአፍሪካ ከሚገኙ ሀገራት መካከል በተጠቃሚውና በአቅርቦቱ አለመጣጣም ምክንያት የዶሮ ምርት በቀላሉ የማይገኝባትና በዋጋ ደረጃም ውድ የሆነባት ሀገር ኢትዮጵያ መሆኗን የጠቀሱት ዶ/ር ታፈሰ ዩኒቨርሲቲው ከከተማ አስተዳደሮች ጋር በመቀናጀት የዶሮ ምርቱን ለማሳደግ የተለያየ የአየር ንብረትን ተቋቁመው መራባት የሚችሉ የዶሮ ዝርያዎችን
