After working with Satoshi in the early years, and almost 15 years of crypto experience, legend Jeff Garzik shares his story in this exclusive interview. A Bitcoin L2 with customizations to more deeply integrate the top two blockchain ecosystems; Hemi is based on two core innovations: the hVM incorporates new byte codes into the EVM that talk directly to Bitcoin, and Proof of Proof (PoP) consensus which allows Hemi to achieve "superfinality" on Bitcoin. The Bitcoin and Ethereum communities have long been at odds debating the true purpose of cryptocurrency, and best design principles to bring about mass adoption.
