Please share with us about it. - Peace and blessings be upon you too. Actually, it's not an easy thing to train a soul and stay away from prohibitions. Even though we know that we will sin one day, we forget the mercy of our Lord. Engaging yourself in listening to the Qur'an, Islamic lectures and other ways of seeking knowledge can help stay away from wasting your time at least. Simply knowing the punishment might not help stay away from sinning, but it's rather our taqwa(God consiousness) that will help. Ibn Abbas reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, Allah has recorded good and evil deeds and He made them clear. Whoever intends to perform a good deed but does not do it, Allah will record it as a complete good deed. If he intends to do it and does so, Allah Almighty will record it as ten good deeds, up to seven hundred times as much or even more. If he intends to do an evil deed and does not do it, Allah will record for him one complete good deed.
