There’s something innately trollish and satanic about the art style of these games. It’s the color palette they use for infant toys and books. Plus the lack of shading and hard angles. Bold outline with colorfill. It just looks evil. And as you sift through the catalog of “emerging creators” (obviously leftoid freaks) you start to notice how preoccupied they are with death, abuse, trauma and sexual assault. They have a fetish for defiling life and love. And they couple it with these infantile art styles. It repulses me on an instinctual level.

There’s this push on Xitter now of women saying what male hobbies give them the “ick”. Tabletop gaming, hunting, fishing, collecting records and just about every male hobby gets listed. Atop of these lists is always videogames. It’s odd to me because there was just a decade long campaign by feminists trying to make videogames “inclusive” for women. I wonder how old these women are who have these turnoffs. Every man I know under the age of 50 plays at least some vidja. We all played it growing up and most women my age at least play mobile games or Nintendo. Ladies, what is the consensus here?
