3 conditions for choosing tools so that they accelerate your learning 2-3 times faster 1 Condition. You need to use materials that you enjoy interacting with. This will reduce stress and turn learning into a more enjoyable activity. But there's a nuance! These criteria are very individual.... Look! Some people find it stressful to draw on expensive paper (fear of ruining the paper), For some people, on the contrary, cheap paper causes tension (unpleasant sensations from the sheet). Some people care about the shape of the pencil And so on... For example, my eyes hurt after an hour of drawing on IPad, and if I tried to learn on it, I would definitely fail Any extra stress will slow down learning So first and foremost choose tools that you are comfortable with! So that your learning is an interesting game and not a forced labour — 2 Condition. Tools should allow you to correct mistakes When learning anything, we all make mistakes and it’s okay. So, there are pencils that are very difficult to erase For example, the pink pencil used to draw the illustration for this post cannot be completely erased, the paper will still be dirty. And if someone tries to learn how to draw with it... They won't succeed So choose pencils that can be erased. Erasers that do their job well. Paper that doesn't require much frugality. Watercolours that can be mixed and applied in many layers. And so on! The important thing is that you can correct your mistakes3 condition. The tools must be obedient Typical situations: We want to erase a single strand of hair, but the eraser erases half of the face 🙈 We want to draw a thin line, but the pencil draws a thick line. We want to make an even fill with watercolour, and the paint stains clog in the texture of the paper... I remembered now: at the beginning of 24 years I bought a very cheap watercolour (12 colours for $1,5, brush included). And I tried to draw an illustration with it It was very interesting that will turn out ... I did it! 🎉 But it was very difficult to handle !!! If I pressed it too lightly, the drawing would be ruined. A little more pressure and the drawing is ruined.... A little more paint on the brush and it's ruined So don't skimp on tools. Buy professional materials. $10 saved on a tool can cost you 100 or more hours of practice — If you want to choose tools for fashion sketching together, sign up for the course, we will fulfil all 3 conditions and find your perfect set!

Okay, I've decided on a programme. I'm going to write down the lessons right away! 🤩 Very excited to see what happens and what cool results you'll send me! For those who are not yet aware: I'm preparing a top-notch training on figure drawing, which will be held in October. I’ll cover the figures in great detail • Show a simple basic algorithm • Learn how to change proportions, height, weight, position of arms, position of legs. • Show you how to draw 100-odd hairstyles • And I'll give you lots of other awesome stuff! I will teach you how to draw almost like me! Welcome ❤️ Find out more details here

As you know I'm working on a best figure drawing course right now (updating my latest lessons) I want my students to be able to not just draw one standard fashion figure, but to become a pro in figure drawing and be able to draw figures…
From references and imagination
In different proportions
In different styles (realism, anime, fashion, comics... )
In different poses
To feel free and confident
So I have a few questions for you 👇🏻
What kind of figures do you want to draw?
What problems do you have drawing figures?
If you had a failed attempt to learn how to draw figures, share your thoughts on WHY it didn't work out?
It will take you 1 minute to answer the questions you like, and you will help me and my students VERY much! ❤️ Reply please in stories on my instagram: https://instagram.com/mariartjournal/
