NEW: The Supreme Court is scheduled to have their โlong conferenceโ September 30, exactly one week before the term officially kicks off.
In case youโre wondering, the long conference is given its name because of how much workload is usually associated with it. During this conference, the justices discuss petitions that have piled up over the summer recess, mainly the non emergency ones. The order list resulting from todayโs conference will be released at 9:30amET Monday October 7.
