Why white identity is a social construct White identity has been an ever expanding concept that started off from WASPS and slowly adapted other ethnicities into the definition such as polish, italian, spanish, and irish all due to political context and demographic threats such as yellow peril. The problem with white nationalism is their insistence on using a biological justification for protecing their demographic integrity despite white being a social category and using a social justification instead just as african socialists did so to create pan africanism.
