The Adentan circuit court has remanded bolt to pay GHC 1.9 million to Justice Noah Adade, a lecturer and a CEO of a software and solutions company. This ruling came after the court determined that, the company failed to identify the theft of the lectures identity and its misuse by a driver. In August 2022, Mr. Adade requested a Bolt ride through his phone, only to discover that his own photograph and details were being used by the driver. When the vehicle arrived, it was his employee, Peter Walker, who was behind the wheel. Mr. Walker confessed to stealing the Lecturer's identity and successfully registering as a driver on the Bolt App.

Paul Evaname, the taxi driver involved in a stabbing incident that claimed the life of his 20-year-old girlfriend, Jennifer Attieku, back in November 2015, has been sentenced to life imprisonment. Paul who had stabbed the victim multiple times also stabbed him self in the abdomen but survived his injuries. The sad incident happened following a misunderstanding between the lovers. According to Paul, all his efforts to reconcile failed as Jennifer stated she could no longer be in a relationship with a taxi driver.
