Great work by all involved in the pushback against the NI Health Bill. The consultation has been extended until October 14th. There's no misunderstanding, Mike Nesbitt. The public do not want a repeat of the fiasco that happened between 2020-22. https://www.belfastlive.co.uk/news/northern-ireland/minister-not-favour-mandatory-vaccination-29970097

Minister 'not in favour of mandatory vaccination' as Public Health Bill consultation extended

"It is important we have vigorous debate on the proposed legislation, which is why I welcome the strong interest in the consultation"

These surveillance practices can endanger people’s privacy, threaten their freedoms, & expose them to a host of harms, from identify theft to stalking. The time of 'nothing to fear or hide' is over. People need to start thinking a lot more about privacy and how they're identifying themselves online. https://www.pcmag.com/news/ftc-social-media-sites-are-vast-surveillance-operations

Unnecessary, disproportionate and something we should never want to see again. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cly2jr0dppro

Don't underestimate the mission-creep of age verification tech and its scoping/beta testing to protect children. If governments and tech companies like Yoti had their way, we'd all be scanning ID documents and uploading selfies to use most online services. https://www.biometricupdate.com/202409/age-estimation-tech-faces-an-uphill-battle-in-australia
