🚁About this helicopter ▪️The Mi-24D is one of the fastest helicopters in the game. Its armor can withstand small-caliber weapons fire, and its machine gun can deal with lightly armored opponents. But its main advantage is its wide selection of secondary weapons. From gun pods, free-falling bombs to missiles and rockets. The S-24 rockets and Falanga ATGM with up to 650 mm armor penetration are particularly good to use! The YP-38 Makes a Temporary Return for the Anniversary of its First Flight! On September 17th 1940, the YP-38, being the second prototype of Lockheed’s P-38, took to the air for the first time. Only 13 YP-38s were produced, with P-38s themselves mass-produced in the United States throughout WWII — more than 10,000 aircraft in total. Famous French writer Antoine de Saint-Exupéry also flew the P-38! The YP-38 is temporarily available for Golden Eagles! This aircraft is available for 1,150 Golden Eagles.

Kamov and Skrzhinsky invented a Russian word to replace the word “helicopter”: “vertolyot”, an amalgamation of verbs “to spin” and “to fly”. About this helicopter Work on the Ka-50 began back in 1976, with it entering service only in 1995. In 1993, the Ka-50 featured in the Russian “Black Shark” movie, hence its nickname. This is one of the most modern helicopters in War Thunder. It’s fast, maneuverable, armed with the 9K121 “Vikhr” ATGM which is also effective against air targets thanks to the radio fuze, as well as the “Igla-V” MAPADS.
