Value event and initiatives Value Event and Initiatives was honored to be invited by the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa to present our work. We were provided with a booth, and our dedicated volunteers made the most of the opportunity. It was a productive day, with many new volunteers registering. We extend our gratitude to AYS for their support.

Event Report: Season Two Kick-Off of the Entrepreneurship and Professional Excellence Series Date: August 15,2024 Location: American Embassy Organized by: Value Initiative in partnership with the American Embassy Overview: Today’s event marked the successful launch of Season Two of the Entrepreneurship and Professional Excellence Series, hosted by the Value Initiative in collaboration with the American Embassy. The program, titled “Strategic Planning Roadmap for Business Growth,” saw an impressive turnout with over 120 attendees, including enthusiastic young students and aspiring entrepreneurs. Program Highlights: Opening Ceremony: The event was inaugurated by Ms. Naomi from the American Embassy's Public Diplomacy Section. Ms. Naomi not only opened the session but also officially kicked off Season Two by cutting a ceremonial cake. Remarks were delivered by Mr. Tebabu Assefa from America via Zoom, and Yared Tesfaye, CEO and Founder of Value Initiative, who both set the tone for an inspiring series ahead. Moderator and Panel Discussions: The session was skillfully moderated by Ahadu Assefa, CEO of Sport for Change. The panel featured distinguished industry experts: Aweke Asrat, Founder and CEO of Eldad Machinery Mekedela Mekuria, Vice President of the Ethiopian Marketing Association Besufikad Getachew, Founder and CEO of EagleLion System Technology PLC The panelists provided valuable insights into strategic planning and business growth, offering actionable advice and sharing their experiences. The program concluded with closing remarks by Mr. Stewart from the American Embassy’s Public Diplomacy Section, who emphasized the importance of strategic planning in business development. #Acknowledgments: We extend our heartfelt thanks to our sponsors, Eldad Machinery and Samra Leather, for their generous support, which made this event possible.
