People need nuance, you can be against the way technology is progressing without thinking we need to go full Ooga Booga mode. It’s about seeing the writing on the wall and the way things are headed, of course you would be against that. All this “progression” was supposed to streamline things, make life easier for the average person yet everyone is working twice as hard for less pay and can’t even support themselves. We can see that corporations are gonna be the one using tech to their full extent to increase capital. Cyberpunk fiction wouldn’t be too far off from how things would eventually become I mean some places already have robotic police dogs. Until you have a plan on how you think you will take control of the direction any industry is headed I don’t want to hear any romanticization about it. AI is creating the art and music while humans slave away to keep their lights on. Every developing area in America feels the need to turn nature into the same strip mall of the same soulless major corporation stores and restaurants. Every place in America is starting to look the same. Of course I’m opposed to that, any sane person would be.
