HDB is on track to deliver all pandemic-delayed housing projects by early 2025!💪 As of August 2024, we’ve completed about 10,500 flats across 15 housing projects this year – 14 of which were delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic. With this, 94% of HDB’s pandemic-delayed projects are now completed. Bidadari Park, which houses Alkaff Lake, opens today! This marks yet another milestone in realising Bidadari as “A Community in a Garden”. More than 10 percent of the estate is set aside for Bidadari Park, which is inspired by the Hundred Acre Wood in the classic children’s story, Winnie the Pooh. HDB has worked with partner agencies NParks, PUB and NHB, and stakeholders to develop the park while retaining the wooded and rustic nature of Bidadari. There is something for everyone at Bidadari Park. With scenic experiential trails, naturalistic play areas, a heritage walk and opportunities for bird watching, residents will enjoy a wide range of recreational options right at their doorsteps 🦋
