Stakers, do you know how long it would take to crack a wallet? *⃣

To control a wallet, you need a password — the seed phrase. It typically consists of 12 random words from a dictionary of 2048 words. The complexity of such a password is 5 * 10^39 combinations.

Hackers usually crack regular passwords using brute force method: they go through all possible combinations until they find the right one. But if they tried to brute force a seed phrase and check a quadrillion combinations per second, it would take 317,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 years to crack the wallet 😋 To achieve this level of security using regular letters and numbers, you'd need to create passwords with 30 or more characters. Such passwords are much harder to write down and enter without mistakes than a simple 12-word phrase. So, as long as you keep your seed phrase secret, all hackers combined won't be able to crack your wallet even in a million years.
