We made this post a little over a year ago. In that time, social media influencers like Elijah Schaefer have gone from calling groups like Patriot Front- Feds, to emphasizing their legitimacy and appeal to the disenfranchised. Nowhere is this more clear than in places like Ohio. Sure, we will always have the public grifters who will say anything for more followers or call anything outside of societal mores, “FEDS” but these changes in attitudes are important to recognize because they highlight how quickly things are changing in this country, and the important impact White Nationalist groups are making on the American Zeitgeist.

I’ve seen this over and over again- “I don’t know anyone in said group, therefore they are not real.” These social media/political influencers spend their days flying from coast to coast appearing on gay podcasts claiming they’ve got it all figured out while never having stepped foot in places like Ohio. Here, White Nationlist activity is somewhat common and certainly growing. These groups are the ones helping out in East Palestine, or handing out information at Trump Rallies and State Fairs, cleaning up litter in area parks, erasing graffiti. I’ve never met anyone who works at The Daily Wire, but unfortunately they still exist.
