10 years ago today the Euromaidan protests began, which then escalated into The Revolution of Dignity. For an explanation of Euromaidan from a White Nationalist perspective, you can read my Telegram posts about this topic here or as a single article here. TLDR: In 1991 the Ukrainian government declared their primary foreign policy objective was EU membership. Every Ukrainian government since then worked towards this goal. Yanukovych also promised EU membership. Yanukovych then betrayed his promises and attempted to force Ukraine into Asian economic and political unions. Ukrainians then overthrew his government. While the EU has its very real issues this was still a positive development from a White Nationalist perspective, as explained in very long format above. On September 2nd, Jewish Oligarch Ihor Kolomoisky was arrested by the SBU and informed that he is currently a suspect in an ongoing criminal investigation for fraud and money laundering, with his bail set at 14 million USD. On September 7th the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine handed Kolomoisky a third charge for embezzling money from PrivatBank, then on September 15th the SBU handed him another charge, and Kolomoisky's bail was increased to 105 million USD. It is difficult to keep track of since there are multiple investigations from multiple agencies, but it seems that Kolomoisky currently faces (in Ukraine) at least 4 charges from 2 agencies (SBU, NABU) relating to usual Jewish oligarch activities (money laundering, fraud, forgery etc.) to the tune of 435 million USD in ill-gotten gains. Ihor Kolomoisky is a name known to pro and anti-Ukraine Nationalists alike, due to false rumours about his alleged involvement with then Azov Battalionβ¦
