U.S. Republican China Panel Chief Seeks Probe Of AI Firm A key House Republican, Rep. Mike Gallagher, chairman of the House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party, is pushing for a federal investigation into G42’s over its possible links to China’s military, warning that the United Arab Emirates-based company may put American tech in the hands of those running the communist regime’s surveillance apparatus. G42 is an AI research and development company created in Abu Dhabi that said on its website it views AI as a “powerful force for good.” The House panel, however, has said it has evidence G42 works with blacklisted Chinese entities and that its CEO operates a network of Emirati and China-based companies to support China’s military and intelligence services, according to Mr. Gallagher. Montesquieu exposes the weakness of Machiavelli-#Napoleon's thinking, leaving him defenseless. His intention is unmasked, and it turns out that he can't conceal his desire to dominate the world. And that he runs a massive #European-wide conspiracy to achieve it. PLAGIARISED CORE IDEA The core claim of the Protocols mirrors Joly's accusation of Napoleon blaming Jews for plotting against nations to subjugate and dominate. PLAGIARISED PIVOTAL SCENE Another forged and twisted element of "Dialogues in Hell" is an encounter with the Devil. China Threatens More Trade Sanctions On Taiwan If It Elects Wrong President Beijing on Wednesday threatened to place further trade sanctions on Taiwan if the ruling party “stubbornly” adheres to supporting independence, in a further escalation of the war of words as Taiwanese elections approach next month. Taiwan this month accused China of economic coercion and election interference after Beijing announced the end of tariff cuts on some chemical imports from the island, saying Taipei violated a trade agreement between the two sides signed in 2010. Speaking at a regular news briefing in Beijing, Chen Binhua, spokesperson for China’s Taiwan Affairs Office, said the “root cause” of resolving problems related to the 2010 deal was Taiwan’s ruling Democratic Progressive Party’s (DPP) adherence to the island’s formal independence. “If the DPP authorities are determined to persevere, continue to stubbornly adhere to their Taiwan independence position, and refuse to repent, we support the relevant departments taking further measures in accordance with the regulations,” Chen said. China detests both the DPP and its presidential candidate, current Vice President Lai Ching-te, who is leading in the polls, believing they are separatists. Lai says he has no plans to change the island’s formal name, the Republic of China, but that only Taiwan’s people can decide their future. Lebanese-Australian, His Wife And Hezbollah Brother Killed In Israeli Air Strike -sources An Israeli air strike on a residence in south Lebanon has killed a Lebanese-Australian man, his wife, and his brother, who was a member of armed group Hezbollah, security and local sources told Reuters on Wednesday. The strike late on Tuesday, part of a flare-up of border area hostilities between Israeli and Hezbollah forces, hit a home in the town of Bint Jbeil, where the powerful Iran-backed Hezbollah enjoys widespread support. As it turned out allegedly Australian couple stayed with his brother in the Hezbollah compound from where the terrorist group attacked northern Israel. According to the reports, all of them died during the attack. The Lebanese-Australian civilian man was identified by one of his relatives as Ibrahim Bazzi. His wife, a Lebanese national, also died. Hezbollah then announced the killing of Ali Bazzi, his brother and one of the Shi’ite Muslim group’s fighters. Russia Threatens South Korea Over Sanctions Russia told South Korea on Wednesday not to be surprised if Moscow retaliates against Seoul for expanding the list of goods which cannot be exported from the East Asian nation to Russia without special permission. Seoul said this week it would add over 600 types of goods which could potentially be used for military purposes to its export control list for Russia. The list includes heavy construction equipment, rechargeable batteries, aeronautical components, and some cars. Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman told a news briefing on Wednesday: “We reserve the right to take measures in response, and not necessarily symmetrical ones.
